Our School
The Coral School was established in 2016 with a vision to provide quality education to the children aged 2 to 16 in the rural and semi-urban areas, under four sections viz. Pre-School, Primary, Middle and Secondary Sections. Our Pre-School division started functioning in January 2018. We as an organization are committed to offering educational experience with emerging global standards blended with our culture, values, and traditions. Our School aims to provide an environment that develops the child to discover her talent; develop knowledge attitude and skills that can foster them to pursue their dreams.
About Us
We are a group of like-minded young professionals and educators on a mission to provide high quality education in the rural and semi-urban sector of Maharashtra under the guidance of highly dedicated & respected personalities from around the leading education institutes. To actualize our mission we have selected Padgha, a village in Thane district as our “Karmabhumi”.Padgha’ is located 35 km towards east of Thane district and is part of Bhiwandi Taluka. Beautiful Mahuli Mountains surround Padgha. It is well connected by National Highway and Mumbai’s suburban railway network. Padgha is surrounded by three Talukas viz- Shahapur, Kalyan and Bhiwandi. The aim of the institute is to cater to the villages on the outskirts of these three Talukas.Its location on NH3 makes it as an epicenter for all the socio commercial activities. The population of the village is approximately 15000.

Mission
The mission of The Coral School is to work in partnership with students, families and the community to promote creativity, develop curiosity, and motivate sensitivity towards the changes in the digital age society.
The learning environment at The Coral School will develop the students to be active, independent learners, equipped with skills of acquiring and managing knowledge. Digital literacy as an integral component of the school culture encourages the use of digital tools in an appropriate manner that makes learning enjoyable and extends beyond the classroom.
Values
A value is a central belief clearly understood and shared by every member of the school community. Value-based education creates a strong learning environment that enhances academic achievement and develops students' social and relationship skills that last throughout their lives.

Principal’s Words
The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character- that is the goal of true education. These words by Martin Luther King Jr ring true even today.
Our children are growing up in a fast-paced world where they have access to a lot of information at their fingertips. Therefore, it is imperative that we teach them how to process this information, filter what is needed, use what is required and implement what is learnt. To achieve this, we start with children right from the pre and primary school stage.
At The Coral School, children are encouraged to question, explore and learn through a varied range of activities that ensure holistic learning. At the preschool level, we ensure the development of Languages, Math, General Awareness, Art, Music and Dance through varied indoor and outdoor activities. This equips our children to master the skills required to make a smooth transition to the primary level. The school provides a warm and loving environment that the children feel comfortable in.
Our team of teachers is dedicated to cater to these young minds with a variety of activities that helps in development of practical life skills along with academic progress. The school follows a continuous comprehensive evaluation system that helps the teachers map the progress of children each fortnight and develop strategies to cater to their physical, emotional, social and academic needs as per their learning milestones.
In the primary schooling years, children go through important developmental transformations. They become more autonomous, gaining confidence and are able to make choices for themselves. At this age their minds are more absorbent to everything they are exposed to. In the primary school we focus on imparting information in a simple but clear manner with the help of learner-centric methods that are interactive, inquiry-based and project-based.
The inclusion of cooperative learning structure ensures that children learn to work in groups. Activities undertaken enhances their problem-solving ability, improve their communication skills, and help in development and acquisition of necessary life-skills. We lay fine emphasis on imbibing the values of empathy, tolerance, humility, adaptability. Consequently, children at The Coral School are happy, confident and enthusiastic learners.
Learning becomes highly effective when both the school and the parents share the responsibility of progress for the child. We expect that you take an active part in the developmental process of your child by providing the required home support.

Managing Functionaries
The Coral School is predominantly run by women from different walks of life. It promotes women empowerment through different channels like hiring staff, engaging mothers in the school activities and annual events.
The school takes various initiatives for the betterment of the society like hosting medical camps, conducting seminars on food habits, benefits of yoga and mediation.
Archana Bhor
An enthusiastic and energetic personality, Archana holds a Masters’ Degree in Social Welfare from University of Pune. In her career spanning over 15 years, she has worked with various NGO’s in Mumbai and Maharashtra. §Her career background propelled her to take the initiative of starting a school that would provide quality education in the rural area.
Dr. Mamta Kurvey
Mamta holds a PhD from University of Mumbai and has been working as a Faculty in Engineering College for almost 2 decades. She is very passionate about education and knows that availability of education makes a lot of difference in shaping young minds. With this thought and zeal, her contribution has made a lot of difference in imparting education in a very positive way to her students.
